David Iji is a Nigerian real-estate entrepreneur, developer, investor and business leader with nearly two decades of experience across property acquisition, development, portfolio management and strategic investment.
He began his real-estate career in Abuja in 2008, sourcing properties for rentals and sales. From modest beginnings—including a period working without a formal office opposite the then McLewis Plaza on Blantyre Street, Wuse 2—he built his career through persistence, trusted relationships and a close understanding of the property market.

First foundations
David began as an estate agent in Abuja, building market knowledge through property sourcing, rentals and sales.
Portfolio experience
He managed property portfolios and developed extensive experience in client asset management and property investment.
Diddyz Haven
The establishment of Diddyz Haven marked his transition from brokerage into property acquisition and resale for clients.
Bayou Court
He initiated and developed Bayou Court, an eight-unit terrace development in Gwarimpa, and originated the Bayou Court Estate name in Abuja.
Carter
Carter was established as the next stage of the business: a broader platform for real estate, lifestyle, private-client services and development.

Between 2013 and 2022, David facilitated real-estate transactions valued at approximately US$20 million. His professional experience includes acting as an agent to the Embassy of Zambia in Nigeria, sourcing rental accommodation for expatriate personnel.
He has worked as a project collaborator with PORCELANOSA and collaborated with Trush Design on the interior design project for De Campania.
Beyond transactions, he has employed and provided professional opportunities for more than 70 people, contributing to enterprise development and a growing professional workforce.
